Turmeric Ginger Anti- Inflammatory Shots

These DIY turmeric ginger anti-inflammatory shots will add some pep back into your step! They are spicy, sweet, and immediately make you feel energized! Making them at home ensures you are getting the most nutrients possible! Store-bought shots are often too old to retain their nutrients. They are all burn with no benefits.

Prep: 5 min Yield: 4 shots (1-2 oz)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cara Cara oranges (juiced)

  • 1 lemon (juiced)

  • 1 knob fresh ginger - about 1-2” (peeled and cut)

  • 1 knob fresh turmeric - about 1-2” (peeled and cut)

  • 1/8th tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/8th tsp black pepper

  • 1/8th tsp honey

  • Add coconut water to dilute if desired

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients into a high power blender and blend until liquid

  • For ideal consumption, chill in fridge for a few hours.

  • Finish by sprinkling shot with cayenne pepper before drinking (optional).
