Hummus
The best hummus is lusciously creamy, yet somehow light and fluffy. It’s beautifully smooth and swirled, and begging to be scooped up onto a wedge of pita bread. It’s nutty and tangy, thanks to the tahini, with notes of bright, fresh lemon and mellow garlic.

Instructions:
In a food processor, chop garlic. Pour garbanzo beans into the food processor, reserving about 1 tablespoon for garnish. Add lemon juice, tahini, and salt to the blender. Add reserved liquid as needed. Blend until creamy and well mixed.
Transfer the mixture to a medium serving bowl. Sprinkle with paprika and pour olive oil over the top. Garnish with reserved garbanzo beans and enjoy with warm pita or fresh veggies. Sahtein!

2 cloves garlic (more if desired)
1 (19 ounce) can garbanzo beans, half the liquid reserved Add reserved liquid as needed to blend to desired consistency
4 tablespoons lemon juice (more if desired)
4 tablespoons tahini (more if desired)
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
paprika, red pepper flakes, or parsley, for garnish
warm pita bread and/or veggies, for serving
